RIP Mitch Mitchell,
one of the greatest drummers ever. His stuff with Hendrix is unsurpassed loose jazz style in rock music, so much feeling.

Did anyone see the Jesus and Mary Chain track on the Hugo Boss advert? This is a disaster. I thought the band would never sell out but it seems that no one is immune to money. FUCKIN FAKES, the lot of them.

On an up note Aretha Franklin won the best singer in the Rock genre, the queen of soul strikes again.

Hi Tam,
Truly sad to see the last of the Experience go. I'd like to think that the band have now reformed in muso heaven with loads of amazing vintage guitars and tube gear thats been wrecked by Pete Townsend!
As for the 'Chain' it's a real shame they couldn't just go and do a new project like Bobby Gillespie did. It's a brass neck and very uncool. They'll probably say that they're being 'ironic' or some crap to make it look like they are in control of the situation.

Hi there,
I had the great privilage of playing with Noel Redding a number of years ago and was inspired by his love of music after all the years he'd spent playing guitar and bass in often very low key bands. Now that both he and Mitch have passed on its a sad day as it marks the end of the possibly the greatest three piece band ever.
