Hi folks,
We've upgraded the Classic OC44 booster to keep it in step with the FET and Rory Gallagher Hawk boosters.
The changes are subtle such as the DC socket (we were always struggling for space in the old box) and a Blue LED indicator.
The new box is in the same style as our FET and enables tool free battery changes when you need to.
It's in a very retro grey hammerite finish with the same proven Dallas Rangemaster circuit that has now reached legendary status.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
Stevie Flynn.

Hi John,
The Sound City's all hummed like crazy, and i've tried loads of tricks to reduce the noise. Theres lots of info online if you do a trawl. I'll try and get some pictures of the Sound City we've got in at the moment. It's a guitar amp but it'll give you an idea. Stevie. |

Hi Ross,
To follow up the problem with your amp i've just checked the database and it shows you were charged £10 for diagnosing the fault. The components that were removed were the output transistors that were dead short. We were unable to power the amp until these were removed from the circuit. Stevie Flynn. |

Hi there,
I've been gigging a 1960 Westminster with a Hawk booster. Sounds brilliant mic'd up and it's an easy amp to carry about. I'll try and put up some pictures on the main website of it. I was given the amp guts for nothing and I set about building a new box in red and white snakeskin. At the gigs it looked amazing on top of a beer crate (which was bigger than it!). Stevie Flynn. |

Hi there,
Sorry if you feel that way but faulty components were found and removed from the pcb but you then refused to have the repair done. No repair shop operates without a labour charge. It's standard practice and many companies will charge a £40-£60 minimum bench fee. I honestly think we are very fair in our charges, but there you go. Stevie Flynn |

Hi stevie! Yesterday was my second show with the Hawk! The hawk killed every guitar player in the place. I 've got to buy myself new fingers now! No other pedals required (exept a tuner may be). You just have to be really careful with the amp settings because this booster......really turns uour 40 W valve amps into a 150 W. Anyway it's easy to control.

Hi fred,
Thanks for the great post. We get a lot of emails from customers that can't believe how liberating it is to do a whole gig without pressing pedals. Really makes me chuffed to bits when players 'get' the concept. Happy Hawking, Stevie. |
